Business Receipts - What's Deductible and When

Bryan Keele is the Owner of Accounting Techniques Inc. in Salem, VA. His firm helps with some of the toughest parts of owning a small business, managing the finances. Most people use Bryan as their part time CFO and Accounting Techniques to help with Payroll, Bookkeeping or Taxes.

One of the most common questions we receive when a business owner calls is whether an item is deductible and what kind of documentation is needed to pass an IRS audit. In this session Bryan will go over the key areas where people make the most mistakes regarding documentation and deductibility. We will focus specifically on Meals/Entertainment, Travel, Mileage and Home Office Expenses. We'll also briefly cover Payroll and when it's time to start paying yourself or others "officially."

Pass It On To Others.
